This week I met some of the Liston lab, and got a tour of their lab spaces. I got to hear about their current projects, and make plans for contributing to them over the next 8 weeks. Since the applicable skills I'm most comfortable with are cranial window surgeries and imaging, that's what we made plans for first, and mice were ordered for us to perform cranial windows on next week. Today I'll be seeing their confocal microscope. Looking forward to getting to know the lab better! Also did lots of trainings this week in order to get access to the lab spaces and be added to their IACUC protocols to do mouse work.
