For this week, I designed a few new parts for the wide-view cystoscope. These include housing components for any additional attachments that are relevant to the scope, which are parts like deflectors, lenses, and other metamaterial-built parts, which may be relevant depending on various applications/features of this new attachment. We 3D printed a few parts, and had to iterate 3 times for some parts to fit better. There are a few more design changes that I will make so that the parts get printed better with the current Formlabs and Makerbot printers that we have. I also tested the fluidic system of the device, and the results look okay so far. With new changes in designs and new parts printed, I am hoping we can have a solid proof-of-concept for this week.
