This week, we ended up doing some imaging for the experimental mice we did surgeries in a couple of weeks ago! Some of them were very good - very clear signal with beautiful cells, to a point of the structure being clearly visible. Others, unfortunately, were not that impressive, so we will see whether there will be any actual data that we can obtain from those. We ran into some issues during imaging (some of them - admittedly silly), but it is always nice to be in a supportive environment during the learning process, which I feel is definitely the case for the lab! In addition, we worked on finishing the analysis script for the videos that we will end up obtaining. I have never worked with R, so I ended up converting the entire script into Python, and it did not go all that well, so I am still troubleshooting some issues. However, by the time we get our data, everything will hopefully be up and running!
